“Metaverse Campus”: Award-Winning VR Platform by Avant-Garde Technology
The “Metaverse Campus Project” is a VR initiative developed by the studio under Avant-Garde Technology (ARTDiCO Game and Animation Portfolio Center). It’s a multiplayer virtual world platform where users can create avatars, interact with others, join activities, and host themed meetings and social learning experiences in a digital campus.
The project has received two competition awards:
Bronze Medal at the 4th Chao Entrepreneurship Competition 2021
Excellence Award at the Qianhai Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
“4th Chao Entrepreneurship Competition”
Hosted by the Taiwan Chaozhou Association and Chuangbohui Innovation Services, co-organized by Qiaoguang University of Technology’s Four Innovation Center and Taiwan Chaozhou PhD Group. The event aimed at attracting talented Taiwanese entrepreneurs with projects, goals, and passion. Nearly 300 teams competed. After going through preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds, Avant-Garde Technology won the bronze medal.
“Qianhai Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition”
The semi-final and Startup Camp of the Qianhai Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition kicked off in Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Fund Town. The event was organized by the Qianhai Authority and Shenzhen Science and Innovation Commission. Over 1,400 projects from Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao and Taiwan participated, including nearly 700 from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. The event also attracted young entrepreneurs from the US, UK, and Canada. Avant-Garde Technology won the Excellence Award following intense competition in the finals.
Both competitions highlight innovation and entrepreneurship, showcasing the project's competitiveness in the youth startup ecosystem of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao and Taiwan.
